About The Position

Job Title : CT Tech

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

License : Required

Certifications : ARRT, BLS

Must-Have :

ARRT with CT certification is required.

Local candidates are accepted.

Pending licenses are not accepted.

Description :

Variable start times at 0700 or 1500.

Local rate match available.

Minimum of 1 year of experience required.

First-timers are not accepted.

Weekend requirement is every other weekend.

Certifications required : ARRT, BLS.

No submissions with open license issues.

Must have ARRT CT license in hand prior to submission.

Compliance requires two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years.

Travelers are expected to float between facilities within a given state.

Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination and / or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

Must commit to working three of the five holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Daily census support includes comprehensive stroke care and interventional procedures.

Preferred experience with specific protocols and procedures.

General CT imaging supports both inpatients and outpatients.

Experience with various CT imaging methods and emergency department procedures is preferred.

Must understand radiation safety and preparation of contrast media.

All travelers are required to complete designated training modules, which are non-billable.

Excessive time spent on training may require prior approval.
