Sev1Tech is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Technical Writer to join our Army Tactical Network IPS team on-site in Aberdeen, MD. The Senior Technical Writer will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation for technical processes, products, and systems.
Responsibilities
- Advise, manage, and mentor personnel in the technical documentation function.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical professionals to write, edit, and publish various documents (e.g., test plans, test reports, survey reports).
- Oversee the production flow of technical publications.
- Track and monitor all documents from inception to distribution.
- Identify and resolve issues as they arise.
- Perform final quality assurance checks on all document deliverables.
- Participate in proposal writing projects and serve as proposal coordinator for large efforts.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and assignments.
- Lead major technology projects.
- Evaluate performance and recommend changes for project success.
- Supervise team members as needed.
