The company services municipal contracts with some of the largest and fastest growing cities in the U.S. including New York City, Austin, San Antonio, and Phoenix.

About the Role :

Circular Services is looking for a full-time Senior Accountant to join our team. The Senior Accountant will ensure timely production of monthly financials and reporting, perform key reconciliations, and provide meaningful analysis into variances or trends that impact the performance of the business. This is a hybrid role for someone based in the Austin, TX or Dallas, TX markets.

Responsibilities :

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger.
• Ensure timely completion of the monthly close process.
• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and accurately reflecting the company's financial position.
• Collaborate with internal teams to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Prepare account reconciliations monthly, and research and resolve outstanding items.
• Coordinate and prepare documentation for external audits, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Other tasks could include bank reconciliations, lease accounting, inventory, etc.
• Crosstrain with other accounting function teams such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare workpapers for budgeting process.
