POSITION OVERVIEW
The Hospitality Interior Designer III plays a critical role in project execution, managing design tasks and providing technical expertise throughout all phases of a project. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, codes, and technical standards to support complex project delivery.
This position may be based in our Dallas, Chicago, or Miami offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead design development for specific components of projects, ensuring alignment with overall goals.
- Collaborate with Senior Designers, Project Managers, and consultants to develop creative and functional solutions.
- Produce detailed documentation, including construction drawings and specifications.
- Serve as a resource for technical questions and quality control reviews.
- Mentor Interior Designers I and II, supporting their technical and creative growth.
TASKS
Manage design projects from concept to completion.Lead client meetings and presentations.Develop and oversee project budgets and schedules.Collaborate on strategic business development.Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level staff.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Interior Design or related field.4- 8+ years of professional experience.Strong technical and design skills with proficiency in software such as Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.Proven ability to manage design tasks independently and lead portions of projects.Certification as a licensed professional (NCIDQ) preferred but not required.
