ER RN Travel Job Details

Location : Winnsboro, South Carolina 29180 (near Columbia, SC)

Healthcare Setting : Free Standing Emergency Department

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Start Date : October 27, 2025

End Date : January 26, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shifts : 3x12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Floating : May float to sister facilities within scope as needed

Scrub Color : Royal Blue

Charting System : Epic EMR

Parking : Free onsite parking

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1530–$1640

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

Active South Carolina or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand prior to start)

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience

Previous charge nurse experience required

Travel nursing experience required

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required

Epic charting experience required

Preferred : Experience in Trauma Level I & II centers

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER environment

Perform triage, assessment, and treatment of trauma, medical, and pediatric emergencies

Administer medications, IVs, and perform procedural sedation as needed

Manage central lines, IV vasopressors, and provide continuous IV sedation

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Participate in team nursing and foster a positive, collaborative work environment

Float to similar units or sister healthcare facilities as required

Be prepared to participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
