Start Date : ASAP Don't miss this chance to make a change! Contract Duration : 5-6 months (Temporary), with a genuine potential for temp-to-hire for the right candidate! Your Ideal Schedule : Awesome 3x12 Hour Shifts! Enjoy a fantastic work week with Thursday, Friday, and Saturday coverage from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM , leaving you with four full days off to explore and relax! Initial Coverage : The selected pharmacist will need to be available throughout May to provide essential coverage during a leave. Expanded Coverage Starting in June : Beginning in June, two pharmacists will collaborate to cover Monday through Saturday to support a paternity leave, offering consistent and manageable hours. Setting : Progressive Inpatient Hospital Join a facility on the rise, currently doubling in size to better serve the munity! Patient Focus : Manageable patient census with approximately 4-5 inpatients and 20 long-term care residents. Support System : You'll be working alongside a dedicated pharmacy technician from the start.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include :

  • Ensuring accurate and timely medication dispensing and verification.
  • Proficiently dosing antibiotics based on patient-specific needs.
  • Expertise in pounding sterile products with precision and adherence to safety standards.
  • Providing crucial support during Code Blue situations in the Emergency Department.
  • Collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative pharmacy environment.
  • (Highly Preferred) Leveraging experience with long-term care patients.
  • (Preferred) Utilizing your familiarity with the Meditech system.

What You'll Need to Thrive :

  • A current and unrestricted California Pharmacist License .
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification .
  • Proven inpatient pharmacist experience in areas such as ER, Med-Surg, or Acute Care.
