The C8 Foundation is currently looking for skilled and compassionate Direct Care Staff to provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

As a direct support professional, you will provide assistance and guidance with :

v Cooking : including but not limited to creating a shopping list, storage, and inventory of food and dietary items, food prep, and cleaning.

v Laundry : including but not limited to the inventory of clothing, washing, drying, folding, ironing, and storing clothing, and routine machine maintenance / cleaning.

v Using durable medical equipment.

v Cleaning, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the individual's home including bedrooms, closets, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, laundry room, outdoor spaces, basement, and vehicles.

v Personal care, including but not limited to assisting clients with eating, bathing and grooming such as shaving, hair care, nail care, and toileting.

v Provide transportation for individuals as needed using C8 and / or personal vehicles as applicable.

v Maintaining a positive and supportive attitude.

v Ensure documentation is completed at the end of each shift.

We have multiple positions (full and part-time) available across the Wayne / Medina / Ashland County area. All positions come with :

Paid Training

Voluntary overtime available

CPR / First Aid, Crisis Intervention, and Medication Administration training provided

Starting wage of $17 / hour

Hourly bonus available

$500 signing bonus

Paid time off for full time empllyees
