Director Sales Personal Care Chemical Leader

Lead and develop a team of 3-5 Account Managers across North America, fostering accountability, coaching, and commercial excellence. Drive growth across strategic and key accounts through both new business development and value-based selling. Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance management to ensure accuracy and discipline. Partner closely with R&D and marketing to deliver customized, formulation-based technical solutions. Strengthen collaboration, pipeline visibility, and cross-functional communication across regions. Play a key role in transforming the team from a transactional to a consultative, value-driven sales organization. This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to directly influence commercial strategy, organizational culture, and long-term growth within one of the company's most dynamic global segments.

The Successful Applicant

8-10+ years of sales experience within personal care, home care, or specialty ingredients markets. Proven success leading a commercial or account management team (3+ direct reports). Strong business acumen, forecasting discipline, and experience driving profitable growth. Technical understanding of formulations and R&D collaboration; a chemistry or technical background is a plus. A hands-on, "change agent" mindset-able to balance strategy with execution in a fast-paced, evolving organization. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and elevate team performance.
