Primary Responsibilities

• HDR Engineering is seeking a Substation EIT / Coordinator to join our team of Power Delivery professionals. The successful candidate will be part of a team that executes technical design on substation engineering projects ranging from simple device replacements to large greenfield design projects.
• This is a growth opportunity for a self-directed individual who is eager to learn and take on new challenges.
• Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports and designs for electrical substations (Low, Medium and High Voltage) and substation systems under the direction of more senior engineers and designers. The candidate will seek knowledge in both the Protection and Control (Indoor) and Physical (Outdoor) aspects of HV Substation design.
• Work under the direction of Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s) with responsibilities including :

Preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports and designs for electrical substations (Low, Medium and High Voltage).
