Title : OEM Principal, Program Manager

Duration : 3-Month Temporary

Compensation Range : $40-$50 / hr. DOE

Location : Fountain Valley, CA (Onsite)

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive OEM Principal, Program Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of automotive accessory programs. This role is responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery, and coordinating cross-functional efforts across product development, validation, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive or aerospace industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of accessory programs, from initial planning through launch and post-launch performance tracking
  • Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, quality, inventory, marketing) and OEM partners to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet, MS Project)
  • Facilitate regular program review meetings to identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when necessary
  • Monitor KPIs including revenue, profit margins, fill rates, and lifecycle performance; collaborate with teams to optimize results
  • Refine and implement project management processes to improve visibility, accountability, and efficiency across teams
  • Support sunset planning for aging models to minimize excess inventory and obsolescence risks
  • Prepare executive-level reports summarizing project status, critical paths, and potential roadblocks
  • Lead special projects and ad hoc initiatives as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-7 years of project management experience in a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Automotive or aerospace industry experience required
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience developing or refining project management frameworks and tools
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Proficiency in project management software (Monday.com, Smartsheet, MS Project)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Korean language proficiency is highly preferred
  • Work Schedule & Travel

  • Standard hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
  • Occasional travel required (up to 20%), including overnight trips
