Sr. Mechanical Engineer - Project Manager

Overview

New opening for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to be our Project Manager and oversee and lead large scale endeavors. There is no PE required for this role and this is not a designing role but must have previous experience in design to oversee the process. If you are an individual with a strong background in mechanical design, specifically HVAC and process systems with the willingness to take ownership of overseeing design from SD to CD we want to speak with you!

Salary : $140k-$150k

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design process across Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure seamless integration of all systems.
• Serve as liaison between engineering and clients.
• Ability to take conceptual design through construction.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering teams to ensure timely and efficient integration of all systems.
• Work with vendors while supporting the overall project schedule and budget.
• Manage the development of all project designs, ensuring they meet client requirements, codes, and regulations.
• Review and approve detailed MEP design drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance.
• Manage project budgets, tracking and reporting on design.
• Monitor scope changes and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed.
• Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize systems performance while reducing costs.
