Industrial Maintenance Technician – 1st & 2nd Shift

Location : Lafayette, IN | Pay : $26–$30 / hr

Express Employment Professionals of Lafayette is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a local manufacturing client. This is a full-time, long-term contract-to-hire opportunity with 1st and 2nd shift openings.

Responsibilities :

Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain production machinery and facility systems

Perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and fabrication tasks

Assist with installation, modification, and upgrades of equipment

Maintain service records and coordinate repairs with vendors

Ensure compliance with safety codes and standards

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required

4+ years industrial / manufacturing maintenance experience

Electrical and welding skills (certification preferred)

PLC / automation experience

Ability to read mechanical / electrical drawings

Able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and in varying temperatures
