Security Professional - Transportation Center - Overnight Shift

As a Security Professional in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with the public, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with team members and visitors. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Pay Rate : $26.01 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeMon09 : 30 PM - 06 : 00 AMTue09 : 30 PM - 06 : 00 AMWed09 : 30 PM - 06 : 00 AMThur09 : 30 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and daily activities.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific procedures.
  • Support emergency response efforts as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
