We are currently seeking a 1st Shift CNC Milling Machinist for a client in Shelton, CT Onsite.

Duration : 6 Month Contract to Hire

Location : Onsite Shelton, CT

Pay Rate : $20-28+ DOE

Shift : 8 Hours 1st Shift (7-3 : 30AM)

DESCRIPTION

• 3 years’ experience, 5 years preferred
• CNC Milling set-up and operate
• Experience in a short run production environment
• Must be conscientious, fast and accurate with attention to detail
• Self-motivated, productivity minded and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to read engineering drawings and process procedures and be familiar with measuring instruments and gauges
• Read G-code, understand and edit programs
• Math skills : Shop Math, Trigonometry, Geometry
• Must be quality conscience and be responsible for own work
• Setup and perform machine operations on two machines in the work cell
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
