Title : Business Analyst

Location : Denver, CO

Full Time

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst professional to support enterprise data initiatives, including data modernization, analytics, integration, and governance. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that data solutions align with business goals and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities :

Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze data requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, data mappings, and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
Support data migration, integration, and transformation projects across multiple systems.
Define and manage data governance, lineage, and metadata documentation.
Assist in developing data models, dashboards, and KPIs for business reporting and insights.
Conduct impact analysis, UAT, and validation for data-driven applications.
Partner with Product Owners and Architects to align data strategies with business objectives.

Required Skills and Experience :

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Data / Analytics / BI projects.

Strong understanding of data management, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.

Hands-on experience with SQL for querying and data validation.

Working knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Experience in Agile / Scrum environments with tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Excellent skills in requirement documentation, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Exposure to data lake, ETL, or data governance frameworks.

Knowledge of data quality, lineage, and MDM (Master Data Management) principles.

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Business Administration.

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Quick learner with adaptability to evolving data technologies and tools.
