Position Summary
Seeking a CNA for our Hospice inpatient unit in Fargo - Heather's House. As a nursing assistant to HIA Hospice, this person would be a vital member of the Interdisciplinary team (IDG). We are seeking a motivated person with initiative to learn, dependable and a team player. This nursing assistant would be responsible to provide personal care services to hospice patients as directed by the patient's plan of care. These services include personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs, providing comfort care and other assistance needed. Safely transferring patients, taking vital signs and complete charting in appropriate time to ensure the team receives complete reporting.
This position shift is overnights. Shift is from 10 : 30 pm - 7 am. Every other weekend. We have a 0.8 FTE available and a 0.5 FTE.
Work within the nursing assistant job scope in order to meet the requirements of applicable federal, state and local regulatory agencies.

Pay Range : Starting at $16.48 / hour (based on experience)

Qualifications : One year patient care experience in a health care setting; hospice or home health experience preferred Ability to be flexible and effectively manage priorities, multiple tasks and meet deadlines Ability to work with and communicate effectively with terminally ill patients and their families
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Required : Certified Nursing Assistants registration from North Dakota and Minnesota State Department of Health Valid drivers license and auto insurance
