Corporate Resources on behalf of our client located in Schaumburg, IL is hiring for a Human Resources Coordinator.

$50,000 - $60,000 / Annually (Dependent on experience)

The Role

This is the ideal role for someone at the start of their HR journey, eager to dive in, learn quickly, and make a real impact from day one. As a Human Resources Coordinator , you'll play a hands-on role in shaping employee experiences and ensuring smooth, people-first operations across the organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with all aspects of new hire onboarding, including paperwork and orientation, to ensure a smooth start for incoming employees
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate job descriptions to reflect current roles and support effective workforce planning
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, policies, and HR procedures
  • Liaise with insurance providers and 401(k) administrators to address and resolve benefits-related issues
  • Assist with timely and accurate processing of benefits enrollments, changes, and related documentation
  • Support key employee lifecycle processes such as promotions, internal transfers, and offboarding
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure compliance with labor laws, organizational policies, and industry best practices
  • Maintain and update employee records, reports, and HR documentation in a secure and organized manner
  • Assist with the planning and execution of professional development programs, employee engagement initiatives, and internal HR communications

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3-6 months' experience in admin or HR role (internships will be considered)
  • Experience / knowledge in benefits administration is preferred, not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting across levels
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up abilities
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Passionate about supporting people and building strong teams
