Qualifications :

Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) or LMHP-Eligible with the State of Virginia

Master's Degree in a related human services field

EMDR Certification preferred

3 years of experience in direct services with individuals diagnosed with mental illness

Deep understanding of effective mental health treatment modalities and best-practice approaches

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver outpatient individual, group, and family therapy, as well as crisis management and psycho-education services

Conduct initial client intake and assessment; develop and implement tailored treatment plans

Maintain and update diagnostic assessments and records, providing accurate DSM-V diagnoses

Ensure thorough documentation for clinical and record-keeping purposes

Review documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and reports, as needed

Undertake additional duties within the scope of the position as required
