Weekdays and Weekends

Call Details

Call Type : Beeper

Call Response Time Required : 30 minutes

Phone Consults : 6-10

Patients Seen : 10+

Admissions : 6

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified

BLS

North Carolina License Required

Fellowship : Preferred

Assignment Details

Practice Setting : Outpatient + Inpatient

No Resident or Teaching Supervision Required

Stroke Certified Hospital

Patients Per Shift : 10+

Beds : 86 at Location 1 + 154 at Location 2

EMR : McKesson and Athena

Required Skills

Upper GI Endoscopy : With biopsy

With foreign body removal

With fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)

With injection of varices

ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) : Diagnostic +Therapeutic

With PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

Colonoscopy : With biopsy

With excision of polyp

Esophageal Dilatation / Manometry

Esophageal Manometry Interpretation

Small Bowel Biopsy

Lower GI Endoscopy

Sigmoidoscopy : Flexible + Rigid

EUS (Endoscopic ultrasound) - PREFERRED
