Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or a Certified / Registered Medical Assistant (CMA / RMA) to join our care team. This position is 100% on-site and offers cross-training opportunities across multiple areas for versatility and professional development.

Primary Responsibilities

Assist providers with patient care, treatments, and office-based procedures

Room patients, take vitals, document medical history, review medications

Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as directed

Perform basic testing (urinalysis, vision, EKG, swabs, etc.)

Support patient education, medication refills, and follow-up needs

Communicate and collaborate with providers and team members to ensure coordinated care

Assist with scheduling or procedures as ordered by providers.

Work with insurance carriers and other departments and locations for authorizations for procedures, as ordered by providers.

Requirements

LPN : Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program; valid Illinois LPN license (or application in process)

CMA / RMA : Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; must hold current Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credential

BLS or ACLS certification required

Vaccinations per IDPH, CDC, CMS, and / or hospital policy (or approved exemption).

Previous healthcare experience required; cross-training to multiple areas preferred

Computer proficiency, including EMR systems and Microsoft Office

Ability to stand or sit up to 90% of shift

Must be available to work at both Chester and Steeleville locations as scheduled.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Pay : $18.00 / hour - $24.80 / hr. (based on experience)
