Bus Driver and Facilities Coordinator

Essential Job Functions :

Bus Driving :

Safe Transportation : Drive school buses to transport students over scheduled routes and / or special excursions.

Safety and Discipline : Enforce rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport, and maintain order and discipline among passengers.

Vehicle Maintenance : Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition, fuel the bus, and report mechanical malfunctions or other problems.

Route Management : Follow assigned bus routes and schedules and notify the supervisor of any necessary changes.

Communication : Communicate effectively with students and school staff.

Emergency Response : Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including evacuations and administering first aid if needed.

Light Janitorial :

Cleaning : Duties include routine cleaning, mopping, sweeping, dusting and other responsibilities as needed.

Maintenance : Perform minor repairs and report larger maintenance needs.

Supplies : Maintain stock of necessary supplies.

Safety : Adhere to safety protocols and proper use of cleaning materials.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Clean driving record.

Ability to follow instructions.

Must clear State required background check.

Job Types : Full-time

Pay : $12.00 - $13.50 per hour

Expected hours : 40 per week
