Overview
Data Engineer - Location - Denton TX (Hybrid)
Senior Data Engineer – Denton TX 76205 (Hybrid as needed and onsite meetings which may be a few times a month). Duration : Contract to hire after 3 months. All applications must be local since the position is hybrid as needed and / or onsite meetings which may be a few times a month. Interviews will be onsite; Mondays only. Salary : $125,000 (contract-to-hire, conversion within 3–6 months possible). Must have Python, Microsoft Fabric and a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead cloud data engineering initiatives using the Microsoft Fabric data platform
- Design and optimize data models and analytics solutions
- Develop scripts with Python, PySpark, R, and PowerShell
- Create data visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Integrate AI / ML (Azure AI, Chatbots) to enhance insights
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally
