As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to help optimize and scale our systems and processes across clinical and administrative functions.
Position Overview :
The Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in both clinical and non-clinical workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, clinical operations, and compliance to ensure seamless integration of automation technologies within our healthcare ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for internal processes (e.g., patient intake, billing, scheduling, reporting).
Implement robotic process automation (RPA) tools, scripts, or platforms to optimize repetitive tasks.
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze current workflows and identify automation opportunities.
Integrate automation systems with existing electronic medical records (EMR / EHR), CRM, and other healthcare IT platforms.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process maps and test cases.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize deployed automation solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
Ensure all automation complies with HIPAA and other healthcare data privacy and security standards.
Stay updated on emerging automation tools and best practices in the healthcare industry.
Requirements
Qualifications : Required :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
1+ years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in healthcare or a regulated industry.
Proficiency with RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate.
Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) and APIs.
Familiarity with EMR / EHR systems, healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), and HIPAA compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred :
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of workflow management tools and low-code / no-code automation platforms.
Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
