Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor, reporting to Nursing Leadership, oversees shift operations and ensures nursing care quality and safety in a clinical department.
They utilize human resource and budget principles to guide daily nursing services and support patient and family care through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, providing direct patient care when needed, and coaching team members to promote clinical and service excellence.
Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited Nursing program, preferably with a BSN and specialty certification.
Current RN license in New Mexico, along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association, are required.
Experience of 3+ years is preferred.
Work involves irregular hours, exposure to infectious diseases and unpredictable situations, and physical demands such as standing, lifting, and emergency response.
