Key Job Details – Pennsylvania RN Locum Tenens Location : Huntingdon, PA (16652) – Pennsylvania healthcare jobs Facility Type : Community Hospital, IMCU – Med / Surg Telemetry Position : Registered Nurse (RN), Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 20 / 2025 – End : 1 / 19 / 2026) Shifts : Night shift (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am) primarily; occasional day shift (7 : 30am – 7 : 30pm) Schedule : 3x12-hour shifts / week, 36 hours / week Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend and holiday Patient Ratios : 1 RN for 10-14 patients, with LPN and PCA support Charting : Cerner EMR system Estimated Weekly Salary : $1910 - $1960 per week RN Qualifications & Requirements Active Pennsylvania RN license or Compact State RN license At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience (first-time travel nurses welcome) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Proficiency with Cerner charting system Ability to float to Med / Surg Tele units as needed Previous charge nurse experience preferred Community hospital experience preferred PA fingerprinting and Childline registration required upon contract signing Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing No local candidates (must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Huntingdon, PA) RN Responsibilities – Med / Surg Telemetry Provide high-quality nursing care to adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients Monitor and manage patients requiring continuous cardiac telemetry Administer medications, blood products, and cardiac / vasoactive drips (no titration) Perform IV starts, central / peripheral line care, wound care, and tracheostomy management Interpret cardiac telemetry, ABGs, and dysrhythmias Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory, pharmacy, social services) Respond to rapid response / code situations Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR Educate and support patients and families Float to related units as required Discover the warmth and natural beauty of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.
