Certified Medical Assistant / Community Health Worker
The Community Health Worker provides outpatient medical assisting services to patients and conducts assessment and referral services to determine the need for services such as care management, appropriate services, or referrals to external resources based on identified needs / concerns, facilitate communication and coordination of services between patients, providers and programs and assist patients in overcoming barriers at the Bowen Health locations as assigned. The individual is responsible for assisting Physicians, Advanced Practice Nurses, Nurses, and Behavioral Health Consultants with delegated responsibilities. Travel between Bowen Health locations may be required.

As a State-Of-the-Art Healthcare Organization and a Federal Contractor Agency we require all individuals who join Team Bowen to receive a flu shot and TB test to further protect our staff and the patients we serve. There are options for exemption applications, but approval is not always guaranteed.
