The Medical Kit Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the production of medical kits to ensure materials are available and production runs efficiently, meeting deadlines and budgets . Key duties include creating and managing production schedules, coordinating with suppliers for material arrival, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and identifying and resolving production disruptions. The role requires a strong understanding of demand, supply, and production workflows, along with skills in problem-solving and cost management.
Key responsibilities
Planning and scheduling : Create, maintain, and execute detailed production schedules for medical kits, aligning with demand, product, and project timelines.Material coordination : Ensure timely availability of all raw materials and components by coordinating with suppliers and monitoring delivery schedules to meet production needs.Production execution : Monitor the production flow from start to finish, ensuring work orders are completed on time and within budget.Problem-solving : Identify and address potential production disruptions, such as delays or material shortages, to keep the process on track.Compliance and safety : Ensure all production activities adhere to company health, safety, and other relevant policies and procedures.Performance and improvement : Track production status, report on issues, and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs.Cross-functional collaboration : Liaise with other departments, such as supply chain, manufacturing, and project management, to align plans and ensure overall success.Required skills and qualifications
Production planning / scheduling experience : Previous experience in planning and scheduling, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment.Supply chain knowledge : Understanding of how to manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.Analytical skills : Ability to analyze demand forecasts, production capacity, and schedules to create realistic and achievable plans.Organizational skills : Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and complex schedules.Problem-solving : Capacity to quickly identify, analyze, and resolve production issues.Communication skills : Ability to communicate effectively with various teams and management to report on status and coordinate activities.Attention to detail : Meticulous approach to managing schedules and a large number of components.Salary depends on experience.
