American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least one year of IR experience, ARRT certification, and BLS.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in an Interventional Radiology unit specializing in both radiology and cardiology proceduresDaily caseload is approximately 25 patientsProcedures include stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripheral procedures, drainages, abdominal and pelvic studies, upper / lower extremity cases, genitourinary and vascular studies, venous access, and LP myelogramRequires proficiency with PACS and contrast administrationExperience with Siemens equipment is preferredDay shifts are 4x10 hours, with shifts commencing at 7 : 00 AM or 7 : 30 AM and ending at 5 : 30 PM or 6 : 00 PM; on-call shifts may require working until 7 : 00 AMFirst-time travelers are acceptedEpic charting experience is preferredClinician will not be required to float to other units or sister facilities during this assignmentBlock scheduling and RTO requests will be considered at the discretion of managementLocals are accepted at the same rate and there is no radius rule in placeHoliday coverage may be limited to one holiday per assignmentProfessional attire and compliance with facility dress code requiredReturn staff policy requires a minimum one-year break before reapplying as a traveler\n \n Requirements\n
Valid state license required; VA or Compact license accepted; license required if applicableARRT certification requiredBLS requiredMinimum of 1 year of interventional radiology experienceDemonstrated skills in PACS, biopsies, and contrast administration requiredIR / angiography special procedures experience required, including vascular and venous accessExperience with Siemens equipment preferredCompletion of up to 8 hours of facility onboarding modules prior to start\n Benefits\n
