Summit Events, part of The Dinex Group - the restaurant group of Chef Daniel Boulud, is looking for Full time / Part-time Banquet Captain.

Please note, this is an hourly position which does not typically receive gratuities.

Duties :

  • Setup, and Breakdown of Stations
  • Food and Beverage service
  • Polishing silverware / glassware
  • Steaming linen
  • Set up of coffee stations
  • Transporting / Delivery of food and beverage between locations
  • Bussing dishes
  • Buffet service
  • Assist with event preparation, assisting with rentals set up and other equipment
  • Assist the catering manager in leading the servers team

Requirements :

  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs for long periods of time
  • Professional demeanor
  • Understand and follow instructions given by management
  • Restaurant / Banquet Experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding SOP's of service
