Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Travel Nuclear Med Tech Fort Worth, TX
Assignment Length : 15Weeks
Schedule : 8-hour days, MondayFriday, 8 : 00 AM4 : 30 PM
Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a dedicated Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Fort Worth, TX. This role offers reliable weekday hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care through advanced diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients via injection, inhalation, or oral routes
Operate imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and SPECT / PET scanners to capture diagnostic images
Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring their comfort and answering any questions
Monitor patients for reactions during imaging procedures and respond appropriately
Follow strict radiation safety and disposal protocols to minimize exposure risks
Perform quality control checks and maintain detailed procedure documentation for compliance
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program (associates or bachelors degree)
NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification and applicable state licensure
Excellent technical, patient care, and communication abilities, with attention to detail and good manual dexterity
