Description :

This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse.

The role requires working in a 25-bed emergency room.

It is a night shift, three times per week.

Every other weekend is required.

The emergency department has providers available 24 / 7.

Mid-level providers are on-site daily from 10 AM to 8 PM or 10 PM.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 6 to 1.

Candidates should possess strong skills in managing various emergency situations.

Key responsibilities include performing assessments, triaging patients, and delivering appropriate care.

Nurses will be expected to administer medications and treatments accurately.

The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is essential.

Knowledge of advanced supportive care procedures is required.

Successful candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills.

Experience in charting with Epic is mandatory.

This position also involves care for diverse patient age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.

The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration with various services.

Focus on the management of acute and critical health conditions is essential.
