IT Support Specialist – Safeway Tax Relief – Irvine, CA

Salary : $54,080 - 62,400 per year

We are currently looking for a proficient and driven IT Support Specialist to join our team in Irvine, CA. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this position plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT systems, infrastructure, and support operations. The ideal candidate is technically adept, innovative, reliable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar technical position.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and practices along with data protection and compliance.
  • Hands-on expertise with Google Admin Console and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and IT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with tools like Active Directory, TalkDesk, Krisp, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and timeliness.

Responsibilities

  • I provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support through various channels including phone, email, ticketing systems, and in-person assistance.
  • I troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues faced by end users within the organization.
  • I administer and manage cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
  • I support and uphold cybersecurity protocols along with data protection policies.
  • I manage user accounts, devices, and permissions in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
  • I assist with IT infrastructure tasks, including monitoring networks, implementing upgrades, and performing maintenance.
  • I lead or support internal IT projects and drive process enhancements.
  • I train users and create documentation regarding technical tools and best practices.
  • I monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot company servers to guarantee optimal uptime and performance.
  • I respond swiftly to server shutdowns, crashes, or service interruptions to restore operations with minimal disruption.
  • I identify root causes of server failures and implement long-term corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • I manage system alerts, error logs, and notifications to proactively mitigate potential shutdown risks.
  • I conduct routine maintenance, updates, and system checks on both physical and virtual servers.
  • I collaborate with network administrators and IT management to ensure proper server configurations and backups.
