Certified Medical Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Billing and Medical Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Enter billing information and submit invoices accurately and timely

Code medical services and diagnoses based on provider notes and analyze chart notes for documentation deficiencies

Provide billing support by reviewing and adjusting claims, and manage ad hoc operational projects as required

Required Qualifications

Certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC)

More than 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding

Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems

Familiarity with medical terminology and basic math

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage billing performance metrics
