Team Lead

We are hiring a Team Lead who will provide support to the Supervisor and maintain high performance objectives for all departmental standards including safety, timeliness, quality / accuracy, security, and productivity for Fox Racing.
This position reports to the Fox Racing Supervisor and is based onsite in our Stockton, CA distribution center.
Expected Hours of Work :
- Must be available during standard operating hours, Monday thru Friday
- Start and end times may vary due to operational needs
- Remain flexible with working schedules is required, to include working overtime, evenings, and weekends per our attendance policy

Be responsible for all production effortsMaintain an accurate and productive work environment aimed at consistently achieving high customer service standardsConduct employee training, coaching, disciplining and being involved in evaluations for department employeesWork proactively on multiple tasks with minimal supervisionAssign workload according to requirements to ensure delegated work is completed within timeSupervise the daily procedures of various departments and / or employees and ensure smooth flow of workCommunicate with various employees, departments, vendors, and others to provide and receive information, resolve questions and issues, and coordinate activitiesAct as a bridge for communication between the supervisor and the employeesOperate and instruct others in the operation of material moving equipment, stand up forklift and related vehicles inside the warehouseDetermine sequence for loading and unloading shipments for maximum space utilization, safety and damage protectionInspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment daily; arrange for maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment as neededPerform computer lookup / inquiries to determine product location and / or descriptionMaintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of items received, and counting of physical inventoryOperate manual dollies, manual platform lifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and hand tools used in warehouse operations safely and as instructedIdentify obvious damage to equipment and materials through visual inspectionAttention to detail and ability to follow directions to meet deadlinesFollow all safety and security proceduresMeet or exceed accuracy and productivity expectationsAssist in other departments of the warehouse as necessaryYou have :
High School diploma or equivalent required and must be 18 years of ageBasic knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification, warehouse procedures and storage areas to pull stock and materials2+ years of proven distribution supervisory experience is desiredPrevious knowledge of voice replenishment and RF equipment a plusPrevious receiving experience preferredStrong organization, leadership and time management skillsExcellent interpersonal communication skillsMust be a quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus and adapt to a variety of challengesPositive attitude - work as part of a team and / or independentlyEstablish and maintain cooperative and effective working relations with people in different functionsActive listening skillsBasic math, reading and voice comprehension is a mustComputer literate with experience using Microsoft office including Outlook, Word and ExcelMaintain regular attendance and have reliable transportationForklift certifiableWork Environment :
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations.Due to forklifts and other equipment traveling through the warehouse the environment can be noisy, dusty, may emit gas fumes and create excessive vibrations.Pay Range : Starting Hourly Rate : $21.20
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills / achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
