As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, managing access control, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid commercial driver's license. Pay Rate : $15.75 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 05 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Tue 05 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Thur 05 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Fri 05 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or access.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, reporting concerns according to site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and observations as required by site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
