Overview

Provide guests with exceptional service to achieve customer satisfaction, ensure quality service, comply with policies and regulations, and meet / exceed financial goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
  • Greet guests courteously and explain specials and promotions.
  • Record and repeat order details for accuracy.
  • Input orders into the Point of Sale system.
  • Retrieve, confirm, lift, and deliver orders up to 30 lbs. with condiments.
  • Abide by all alcohol service laws and policies.
  • Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
  • Market and serve desserts or specialty coffees upon request.
  • Operate POS procedures for pre-checks and closing checks.
  • Present checks promptly.
  • Maintain regular attendance and be available to work.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner.
  • Be a team player willing to assist coworkers.
  • Have basic knowledge of food and beverage service and guest relations.
  • Know proper table settings, service ware, and menu items.
  • Recall and promote menu items effectively.
  • Transport trays weighing up to 30 lbs. throughout the shift.
  • Operate beverage and toast equipment.
  • Establish effective working relationships.
  • Operate a keyboard and learn POS procedures.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, adapting to different audiences.

    • Compensation

    Hourly Rate : $12.22. Tipped / Service Charge Eligible? Yes. Discretionary Bonus? No.
