Ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles accurately. Assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per hospital protocol. Maintain accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication profiles. Complete all assigned medication storage area inspections in a timely manner. Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy. Build and nurture relationships with physicians and nurses. Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree required. Current license, in good standing, to practice pharmacy in the State of New Mexico. One year of experience as a registered pharmacist preferred. Retail 340B experience preferred. APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certification preferred or willing to become certified. Hours of Operation :
- Monday - Friday, 8 : 30am - 6pm
- Closed on the weekends and six major holidays.
We welcome new graduates and those looking to expand their skill set to apply.
Location : Alamogordo, New Mexico (1-Hour SW of Las Cruces)
Position : On-site (This is not a remote position.)
