Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting energy efficiency, reducing environmental impact, and providing cost-effective solutions to our diverse range of clients. As an Energy Efficiency Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting energy audits, building benchmark studies, analyzing data, and recommending strategies to improve energy consumption and reduce costs. Your role will involve collaborating with our sales staff, operations team, and clients to develop and implement sustainable and efficient systems tailored to their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform comprehensive energy audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct benchmarking and building performance studies.
  • Analyze energy consumption data and recommend efficiency strategies.
  • Assist with custom rebate applications through various energy and city-sponsored programs.
  • Review projects for rebate potential and impact on EUI standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and implement energy-efficient solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Support clients in securing incentives, grants, and rebates for upgrades.
  • Produce detailed reports and presentations of findings and recommendations.
  • Prepare EUI reports with paths to meet Energize Denver and State Efficiency goals.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, environmental science, architecture, sustainability, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in energy consulting, auditing, ESG, real estate sustainability, or related areas.
  • Understanding of building mechanical, control, electrical systems, and energy impacts.
  • Certifications such as CEM, CEA, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of energy efficiency principles and technologies.
  • Ability to perform financial analyses like ROI and Life Cycle Cost Analysis.
  • Proficiency in energy modeling software (eQuest, EnergyPlus, HAP).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
