Job Description Summary :
The Communication Studies Faculty teach in a variety of modalities across our district : face-to-face, as well as distance-learning and is seeking a colleague who can accommodate both in-person and online courses. Applicant is responsible for preparing and delivering coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success and creating an environment that promotes belonging for all. This position starts in Fall 2026.
Job Description :
ACC's Communication Studies Department (CommS) offers on-campus and online college credit courses across all ACC campuses. We maintain an active partnership with our High School Programs department and offer both Dual-Credit and ECHS courses. Service Learning plays an important role in the department, as do Honors courses and contextualized classes for Health Science students. Faculty present at conferences such as the Southern States Communication Association and the National Communication Association conventions, and have strong relationships with our four-year university transfer partners and workforce programs. Communication Studies is a thriving department experiencing significant growth in majors over the last five years. Please apply to be a part of this dynamic team!

Working Conditions
Salary Range
$70,870 - $96,197 (Based on a 10.5 Contract to start Fall 2026)
