job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerforms a variety of carpentry and simple plumbing tasks, and maintains interior paint surfaces. Troubleshoots equipment and / or facilities problems and escalates them as needed. Performs waste management and recycling programs including moving, organizing and disposing under direction of the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager. Will perform other duties of a similar nature and complexity, as well as custodial tasks, as directed. Participates in periodic on-call coverage as needed, to maintain reliable facilities services (in accordance with applicable Vicor policy for such coverage). Must be passionate about and display good customer service skills. Must perform work in a safe manner and understand the importance of safety in a factory setting. Must be able to work without direct supervision after completion of training. High school / vocational school diploma. Basic computer knowledge, email, MS Office, etc. 3-5 years' applicable experience. General working knowledge of plant facilities equipment and systems : HVAC, air compressors, vacuum pumps, chilled water systems, energy management systems and alarm systems, is a plus. Experience handling waste materials and recycling is a plus. Experience directly supporting internal customers. Must be able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to use ladders as needed.

Compensation Data
Salary Range : $25 - $30 / hour
Please note : This range is based on our current market driven pay structures. Individual salaries are determined based upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, a candidates overall qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience as well as company internal equity
