Gaven Industries manufactures highly engineered systems for electromagnetic and RF shielding including solutions for IEMI, EMI, RFI, and HEMP / EMP. Our diverse customer base is spread across multiple verticals with thousands of government and commercial customers worldwide. We are looking for an RF Shielding Installer / Carpenter Foreman to join our team!
This role is responsible for all aspects of construction on the job site supporting the installation of shielding systems.
This role requires extensive travel (up to 90%) to project locations across the United States.
In this role, you will :
- Follow drawings and / or blueprints detailing the installation as well as working with other trades supporting the job site
- Inspect and verify all work is completed and in conformance to the drawings and / or blueprints
- Maintain all equipment and tooling utilized on the job site
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
Thorough understanding of construction carpentry processes and best practicesAbility to read construction drawings, blueprints, and specificationsSolid team work and communication skillsStrong organization, planning, and communication skill setAbility to adjust to daily work requirements in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work with minimal supervision at a high-level of accuracy and efficiencyPossess solid math skills, good mechanical problem-solving skills, and attention to detailAbility to perform physically demanding work : standing, bending, and lifting 50 lbs. regularlyValid driver’s licenseAbility to travel up to 90%Education / Experience Requirements :
