Position Overview :

We are seeking a dependable and safety-minded Class A CDL Driver to support CRI’s recycling operations. In this role, you will safely transport non-hazardous industrial waste and recyclable materials between customer locations and CRI facilities. As the frontline representative of CRI, you’ll demonstrate professionalism, environmental responsibility, and excellent customer service on the road and at client sites.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport containers, drums, totes, and other recyclables.

Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and company standards.

Load and unload waste streams, ensuring proper cargo securement (drums, bins, totes, pallets, etc.).

Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and paperwork in line with DOT, EPA, and company requirements.

Coordinate with dispatch and facility teams for efficient routing and scheduling.

Follow all safety and regulatory procedures to protect yourself, the public, and the environment.

Represent CRI professionally at customer sites, delivering excellent service.

Support facility operations as needed with staging, material handling, or equipment checks.

Qualifications :

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Minimum 5 years of commercial driving experience.

Background and drug screening required.

Clean driving record; able to pass DOT physical.

Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, load securement, and safe driving practices.

Tanker endorsement a plus.

Experience with drums, totes, or bulk containers a plus.

Safety-first mindset with strong customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements :

Lift and move containers, drums, and equipment as needed.

Climb, bend, kneel, and perform tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.
