Travel Surgical First Assistant - $2,623 per week

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Surgical First Assistant for a travel job in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Surgical First Assistant Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 02 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : Certified Surgical First Assistant Location : Pleasant Prairie, WI Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift, 5x8-Hour Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri : 10 : 00 – 18 : 30 (Surgery) Wed : 07 : 00 – 15 : 30 (Birthing Inn) Job Responsibilities : Provide first assist support during surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Work collaboratively with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses. Assist with C-sections in the Birthing Inn; must be available for OB and general surgery cases. Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and assist in the application of dressings, positioning, and patient care during procedures. Participate in rotating on-call shifts, including : Two weekday on-call shifts (11 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Every 3rd weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 24-hour call for C-sections) Maintain a 30-minute response time during on-call coverage.
