Position Summary
- Join our dedicated team as a CDL-A Truck Driver, responsible for transporting milk from producers to our plant. You will follow established raw milk handling procedures and uphold safe driving practices, ensuring we meet supplier and customer expectations while supporting our company's vision and values.
Essential Functions
Safely operate a tanker truck in various weather conditions while adhering to DOT regulations.Use and maintain milk handling equipment per standard operating procedures (SOPs).Follow federal and state guidelines for milk sampling and antibiotic testing, confirming that all milk meets quality standards before loading.Communicate effectively with the procurement leadership team and milk suppliers to ensure product safety and proper equipment maintenance.Complete and maintain accurate paperwork and documentation for record-keeping.Perform regular cleaning of trucks and tanks following SOPs.Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.Assist in training new or untrained procurement employees as assigned.Understand and comply with all food safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and OSHA policies.Conduct all responsibilities while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.Competencies

This position operates outdoors, facing various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures. All shifts will start and end in Milbank, SD, or Watertown, SD.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time role, with alternating and repeating schedules for either day or night shifts, including weekends.
Required Education, Experience & Certifications
A high school diploma or GED is required. Candidates must possess and maintain a valid Class A CDL and have the ability to obtain a Tank Vehicle Endorsement and a valid health certificate.
