Position Summary
This role provides clerical and operational support to the buying team at Gearys Beverly Hills , a premier destination for luxury retail and e-commerce. Responsibilities include a variety of administrative tasks, purchase order tracking, and communication with internal teams across both retail and online channels. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment that supports a seamless luxury shopping experience across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Answer incoming calls and manage email correspondence promptly and professionally.
- Maintain organized filing systems and perform accurate data entry, with strong proficiency in Excel required; experience with NetSuite and Magento is a plus.
- Work closely with customer service, sales associates, and cross-functional teams to provide accurate shipping ETAs, product availability, and general order status updates, ensuring smooth daily operations. Track purchase orders, shipments, and deliveries; communicate updates to relevant teams.
- Create and maintain purchase orders, including entering price changes and conducting timely follow-ups to ensure accuracy and on-time processing.
- Prioritize tasks and adapt to changing workload in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reports to relevant teams, ensuring timely and accurate communication of key data.
- Operate independently and collaboratively, adjusting priorities under pressure while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with e-commerce and marketing teams to execute website updates, including product details, promotions, imagery, and site maintenance; assist with product uploads and content accuracy for online merchandising.
Required Qualifications :
Retail experience requires exposure to buying, inventory, or merchandising clerical support preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, data management).Familiarity with Netsuite and Magento platforms a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable handling calls and emails.Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that supports both retail and e-commerce operations, with equal focus on accuracy, adaptability, and cross-functional collaboration.Maintain a basic understanding of purchase order processes and pricing updates to support the buying team with routine data entry, tracking, and communication tasks.This is an hourly role, full time role at $30 per hour.
