Baker Engineering and Risk Consultants, Inc. Utilizing advanced methodologies and proprietary in-house tools, BakerRisk engineers assess the consequences and risks associated with potentially catastrophic events including explosions, fires, and toxic material releases.

The Editorial Services Department ensures editing work is performed efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of technical staff.

BakerRisk is seeking an Editor to provide document processing support for technical staff. Primary duties involve the editing, proofreading, and formatting of project-related documents according to company standards. Uses established knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint document processing procedures to accomplish routine work. May need occasional supervisory guidance on more complex Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or SharePoint issues. May assist technical staff with special projects or non-routine editorial support.

This position interfaces with all levels of the organization and provides support to Management, Engineering, and Marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides copy editing support for a variety of business documents.

Proofreads, reviews, and edits documents using Microsoft Word and other platforms as required.

Client delivery protocols.
