Overview

Wet Etch / Wet Clean Sustaining Equipment Engineering Manager I - R10209324 at Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) in the Advanced Technology Lab (ATL), Linthicum, Maryland (near Baltimore).

Relocation assistance may be available. CLEARANCE TYPE : SCI. TRAVEL : Yes, 10% of the Time. US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a TS / SCI clearance required.

What you'll do

The Wet Etch / Wet Clean Sustaining Equipment Engineering Manager I will be responsible for technical and management activities associated with the Foundry Semiconductor Equipment Engineering, focusing on equipment availability and continuous improvement. You will establish factory metrics goals, supervise cross-functional engineering teams, and coordinate with Line Maintenance and Operations to prioritize tactical tool recoveries and strategic tool availability efforts with groups such as Operations, Process Engineering, and Process Integration.

You'll also be responsible for staffing, tasking, project management, budget oversight, and program / engineering interface activities. Functional duties include hiring, onboarding, performance assessments, time charging approval, and employee development.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of relevant experience; MS degree and 3 years
  • Familiarity or understanding of wet etch / wet clean semiconductor manufacturing
  • Experience with CMMS and other manufacturing execution systems and subsystems (e.g., Xsite, Maximo, Maintenance Connect)
  • Some leadership or management experience
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a TS / SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Physics with 7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with wets processing semiconductor equipment maintenance
  • Experience as a tool vendor Field Service Engineer
  • Experience with Xsite
  • Experience with factory automation systems such as PLCs is a plus
  • Experience interfacing with multiple vendors across manufacturing disciplines
  • Active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance

    Primary Level Salary Range : $112,600.00 - $169,000.00. The salary range is a guideline and base offers consider scope, responsibilities, experience, and market conditions. Benefits include health, life and disability insurance, savings plan, holidays, and PTO. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply depending on the position.
