Typically 8+ years of Electrical Engineering “tenant fit-out” experience. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the US is required. Field experience is strongly recommended. Education and experience can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Power Distribution & Systems : knowledge of critical power infrastructure (transformers, switchgear, UPS, batteries, diesel generators). Load Management : ability to balance electrical loads to prevent oversubscription and equipment failure. Design & Modeling : proficiency in electrical system design, single-line diagrams, load flow, short circuit, and coordination studies; experience with ETAP / SKM; BIM 360 or similar. Standards & Codes : understanding of NEC and applicable codes and regulations. Blueprints & Terminology : ability to interpret SLDs, construction drawings, and data center terminology. Software Proficiency : experience with electrical design software and commissioning tools. Knowledge of engineering processes and calculations (loads, layouts, HV / MV distribution, lighting, grounding, value engineering, codes / standards). Working knowledge of equipment testing and commissioning. Strong problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail; ability to coordinate with others and manage complex engineering problems. Experience overseeing Electrical System Studies (Short Circuit, Overcurrent, Arc Flash, Voltage Drop). Management skills : work planning, resource management, fee development, staff oversight and development, prioritization under time pressure. Knowledge of electrical construction and local Building Codes; proficiency with Microsoft Office; Oracle preferred. Effective in teamwork, communication, and professional interaction with all levels of staff, vendors, clients, and partners. Up to 15% travel (local field visits included). General indoor environment with varying conditions; occasional job-site noise; physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs; ADA compliance and reasonable accommodations available. Overview

We are seeking an Engineering Team Lead for tenant fit-out projects in Data Center / Mission Critical work. You will provide technical engineering oversight and design team management for assigned projects, with leadership in financials, resources, logistics, and mentoring staff.
What You’ll Do
- Understand project requirements and develop a design fee for the work requested.
- Prepare and oversee work plans for engineering and production resources.
- Oversee Engineers, Designers and Modeling staff assigned to team or project work.
- Communicate with Project Manager or Executive regarding effort required to achieve deliverables; develop requests for additional services as needed.
- Lead the Engineering CAC effort and interaction with the project PM.
- Resolve complex design problems and coordinate with authorities and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with city, state, and county officials and other regulatory agencies.
- Attend project design meetings with the Design Build Team and perform site visits to review installation or assess conditions.
- Perform Value Engineering studies; act as Engineer of Record for projects within responsibility.
- Other responsibilities as assigned within the position’s role.
