About The Position We are seeking an Acute Care Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in DC. This opportunity begins on Jan 12, 2026, with a 135-day assignment, featuring full-time, weekday day shifts from 8am to 4pm. The role focuses on adult inpatient care, including rounding and history / physicals. Job Details Location : DC Start Date : Jan 12, 2026 LOA : 135 days Provider Type Needed : Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, full-time Responsibilities and Duties Perform rounding and history / physicals on adult inpatient units Provide acute care management for hospitalized adults Collaborate with attending physicians and interdisciplinary teams Document patient encounters and progress in accordance with facility protocols Additional Information DC state licensure required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Acute care NP background preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
