Responsibilities Work in a combined Adult / Pediatric Emergency Department setting Night shift schedule consisting of 3x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Patient population includes adults and pediatrics with trauma, neuro, and cardiac cases Care for patients with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, ortho-trauma, and ventilated patients Procedures involve triage, IV therapy, phlebotomy, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, CPAP / BiPAP, and ABG interpretation Epic charting system experience is required Travelers may not have worked at any Guthrie facility within the past year Stroke education of 8 hours required annually; can be completed on first day if not current Navy blue scrubs are required Responsible for triaging and caring for high acuity pediatric and adult cases in a fast-paced ED environment Requirements Active NY RN license in hand required at the time of consideration Minimum of 2 years recent ED experience required Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required FEMA awareness is necessary Experience with continuous IV sedation and ICP monitoring required Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted Epic EMR proficiency required First time travelers are not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-617228.
